Full Circle hosted its second Equine Intelligence Test and Breed Challenge Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010. Eleven horses from eight breeds competed for the title "Smartest Horse of 2010." Competitors faced a five-test challenge handled by testers selected by draw. Winner was Loxley, a Trakehner gelding owned by Mary Jo Wicker. His tester was Pat Higgins of Louisville, dog trainer and AKC judge. The testing was followed by an awards dinner.
Full Circle Graduates
Full Circle congratulates its "graduates," horses started here who have gone on to continued success. Among the 2010 stars are Fenway Park with Kristi Haines, Onne with Susan Swope, Blarney Stone's Sailor with Susan Posner and A Better Soldier with Mallory Mignot. Onne, Blarney and Soldier were shown to blues while at Full Circle and all four are champions in their individual divisions this year. Their success reflects our success -- and we wish them more blues! Our exciting and talented new show string representing six breeds will debut next spring from Training to PSG. We've got babies and some old guys, too!
Congratulations to HVK Priceless Gem on his $2,052.00 first-place win in the Kentucky Breeders' Incentive Awards program, Dressage division. Gem was bred by Herbert V. Kohler, Kohler, WI, is owned by Full Circle, and was trained and shown by Full Circle's Laura Ovaitt. The award, presented in 2010, was based on his outstanding 2009 performance.

Winning the 2008 KBIA award was Gem's cousin HVK Presence, bred & owned by Mr. Kohler and trained & shown by Full Circle's Mary Jo Wicker.
